We notarize documents for inmates at  jails, prisons and detention facilities in the Knox, Sevier & Jefferson County areas.  

We notarize various types of documents including power of attorney (POA’s), Inability to Appear, Deeds of Trust, and Letters of Permission.

Many detention facilities provide professional viewing hours to your notary Monday-Friday. The vast majority of the time, the signing of the document can be finished in an hour or less.

A lawyer need not be present on the day your document is signed.  We manage the signing and notarization.

Minimum fees for  jail signings is $100.00, one signature and maximum one hour of wait and transaction time and is NON-REFUNDABLE if I get to the jail/prison/detention center and I'm not able to meet with the inmate or if the inmate refuses to sign.

Additional fees for time are as follows: $40 for every half  hour thereafter.  This fee is for one signature of the incarcerated individual. If additional signatures on multiple documents for same signer it is $10 per notarized signature.

Jail signings usually take a little more time and the price reflects the extra time involved.

Full payment is required up front before any transaction takes place. If the notarization is unsuccessful for some unforeseen reason, then the signature fees will be refunded only, not the travel and wait time fees.

Notary will also need a current unexpired government issued picture ID (driver license, state ID, passport) for the signer.
